Reporting irregularities

As part of the implementation of projects financed by European Union funds, one of the objectives is to ensure effective internal and external communication regarding mechanisms of prevention and reporting of irregularities and fraud. 

Reporting of committed irregularities and/or fraud, as well as suspicions of their occurrence, may be carried out either personally (by providing the first name and surname of the reporting person) or anonymously. 

Every committed irregularity and/or fraud, as well as any suspicion of such occurrences, must be reported regardless of the size and significance of the irregularity and/or fraud, and regardless of whether they were committed intentionally or due to negligence. 

Where to report irregularities? 

Suspected irregularities and/or fraud in the management and implementation of projects, as well as irregularities and/or fraud related to the use of EU funds, may be reported to:

Complaint handling

The Complaints Subcommittee was established by the Decision on the establishment of the Subcommittee for handling complaints concerning breaches of fundamental rights related to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Subcommittee is responsible for reviewing and addressing complaints and instances of non-compliances relating to the funds, concerning violations of the human rights set out in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Method of submitting complaints

A complaint is submitted by e-mail to the following address: prituzbe.homefunds@mup.hr.

The complaint must contain a detailed description of the violation, relevant evidence, and the complainant’s details.

Upon receipt of the complaint, the complainant will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint within 3 working days.
